Criss Cross Poker
Rules of the Game
1. The Criss Cross Poker game is played using a single 52-card deck.
2. Players must make two ante wagers of equal value: the "Ante Across" and "Ante Down" bets. Players may also place an optional 5-card Bonus bet.
3. The Dealer deals five community cards face down to form a cross.
4. Each Player receives two cards face down. Players may examine their own cards.
5. A Player may fold and forfeit all previous Ante wagers, or make an "Across Bet" of 1-3 times the "Ante Across" bet.
6. The Dealer turns over the two outside cards on the horizontal line of the cross.
7. A Player may fold and forfeit all previous wagers, or make a "Down Bet" of 1-3 times the "Ante Down" bet.
8. The Dealer turns over the two outside cards on the vertical line of the cross.
9. A Player may fold and forfeit all previous wagers, or make a "Middle Bet" of 1-3 times of the two original Ante bets.
10. The Dealer then turns over the middle card.
11. Players use their two cards plus the three community cards on the horizontal line of the cross to form an "Across" hand, and their two cards plus the three community cards on the vertical line of the cross to form a "Down" hand.
12. The winning "Across" and "Down" bets are paid according to the posted paytable. The "Middle" bet is paid if either the Across or Down hand qualifies as a win, and is paid at the odds of the highest ranking hand.
13. The two Ante bets are paid even money on a pair of Jacks or better, and push on a pair of 6's through 10's.
14. The 5-Card bonus is based on the five community cards making the best 5-Card Poker hand and is paid according to the posted paytable.
